Je ne lis pas de manga mais j'aime les bons films de sabre, et celui ci en fait parti. Former legendary assassin Kenshin Himura has now become a wandering samurai. Film is a huge, global industry generating massive sums of money each year.

Rien que la chorégraphie de l’ultime affrontement vaut son pesant de cacahuètes visuellement. Il n'est pas facile d'adapter un manga de cette façon mais le pari a été réussi et de loin.
This movie also suffers from bad-history-movie dialogue disease, which puts words in peoples' mouths that no normal human would say aloud, like "now that we're in the Meiji era, things are so much different." La digne fin de cette trilogie (sauf pour celle du méchant, "quelque peu" exagéré). Keishi Otomo a réalisé la trilogie, le 1 er film met en place le personnage et les 2 suivants ne forment qu’un film de 5 heures pour aller à l’affrontement de Shishio, le grand méchant.
