Great location, walking distance to bus, food, post office and groceries. I really appreciated his kindness and assistance. From check in, check out, cleaning staff: phenomenal service and information. Room was less than $160 online with some discount/promo they had running (Covid?). We look forward to you returning again in the future. Also there’s only one restaurant who delivers: Bonita Plaza (also exceptional). I was informed they were resolved immediately after your departure. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the South Rim, or a 20 minute walk to the Visitor Center. Plenty of USB ports and outlets on lamps throughout room. The only downfall was no wi-fi and my signal was poor. There is a nice grocery store and restaurant that is walkable however. This was a decent place to stay at the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately, when you have family members with whom you need to communicate, the lack of wifi was problematic. Since you previously stayed with us we have added AC to all of our rooms and improved our wifi services. They look fantastic. Just such a good job! The service was exceptional with knowledgeable staff (shout out to Olle for making me laugh) and very friendly. The rooms are large and clean, and very quiet. Clean and comfortable lodges within 15 minutes walking to everything or just go by car for an easier time.

There is a sign posted at the turn to the East gate but it can easily be missed because it alternates flashes with COVID-19 warnings. Our room was not air conditioned and there was only one window to open. We have a great team right now who are all truly happy to be here with us. Yavapai Lodge rooms are housed in buildings designated Yavapai West and Yavapai East. There is no WiFi or cell service. Of course, it's more than just the perfect place to start your adventure. Our toilet was stopped up when we arrived and the main room light was burnt out. Hospitality comes first at Yavapai Lodge, which is family-friendly, bike-friendly and pet-friendly.
