The walk itself is beautiful, with lovely views. You'd round a bend or top a rise and there would be a giant rooster or an entire family of turtles sunning on the rocks. Even better than the sculptures were the vistas over the valley. Quite often in summer there is nothing parked in the car park. There is a free car park where you start the walk. The road is one lane and curvy; you should look up directions before you set out, as there aren't many signs until you get right there.

We went on a rather hot day, and even though we brought bottled water, we didn't make it very far along the trail, which seemed to be entirely uphill. This starts at a parking lot beside a tiny village in the mountains in the middle of nowhere.
(It is a loop, so would eventually come back down. We went back twice to do different walks. Some fairly hard uphill climbs.
I would recommend this for people who enjoy hikes, nature, and lovely vistas, but not on the hottest day of the year!This is a very unusual walk in a fairly remote area 15 miles or so from Carcassone.
